Product Description and Uses:

Schwartz Dip Strip is an effective stripper for lacquer finish and certain types of enamels on both wood and metal furniture.

It is conventionally used in a bath of stripper where item to be stripped is soaked in to remove the finish.

Dip Strip will not raise wood grain nor discolour wood and metal pieces.

Suggested Uses:

Surface Preparation:

Stripper bath must grounded.

Use ex-proof pump to transfer Dip Strip to holding container or bath.

Application:

Use in well-ventilated area.

Remove any plastic pieces from items to be stripped.

Soak items in the bath until coating is completely softened.

Soak time may vary depending on type of finish to be stripped.

Softened coating can be scraped off with a putty knife or a stiff bristle brush especially on deep grooves to aid removal of coating.

Storage:

Store indoors at room temperature, away from heat, ignition sources, open flames and direct sunlight.

Warning:

Highly Flammable.

Avoid sparking, use non-sparking tools.

Avoid open flames, turn off all pilot lights, ensure that work area is properly ventilated.

Soiled rags and waste products may contain combustible liquids or vapours, dispose in accordance with local regulations.
