Product Description and Uses:

Schwartz VC2 Vinyl Cement is bodied, clear solvent cement that quickly fuses vinyl surfaces together.

It is a fast drying formula that enables a strong bond to form within minutes.

Can be used on flexible vinyl, rigid vinyl and PVC.

Suggested Uses:

For bonding vinyl and PVC.

Dry Time:

Sets almost instantly.

For maximum strength, do not disturb bond for 24 hours to allow complete cure.

CAUTION - cold temperature, high humidity, or lack of airflow will prolong dry times.

Surface Preparation:

Surface to be bonded must be clean, dry and contaminant-free.

Ambient Conditions:

Use only when ambient conditions are 18°C to 30°C and RH = 40 - 60%.

Application:

Use in well-ventilated area.

Since bonding of vinyl depends on the perfect fusion of two surfaces, it is absolutely necessary to apply a sufficient amount of cement to soften and partially dissolve the surface layer.

Apply by brush on both surfaces generously.

Bond surfaces immediately.

Both surfaces must be sufficiently softened to fuse for a perfect bond.

Due to the rapid penetration of the solvents, plastic objects cemented with VC2 Vinyl Cement set almost instantly.

Storage:

Store indoors at room temperature, away from heat, ignition sources, open flames and direct sunlight.

Warning:

AVOID sparking, use non-sparking tools.

Avoid open flames, turn off all pilot lights, ensure that work area is properly ventilated.

Soiled rags and waste products may contain combustible liquids or vapours, dispose in accordance with local regulations.
